jiu zhai gou

Here’s my second post of the China trip! We were supposed to fly to Jiu Zhai Gou on the second day of our stay there but things got complicated.

Visited some place in Chengdu.

So we arrived at the airport, and took a domestic flight to Jiu Zhai Gou. The flight was supposed to be forty-five minutes but i fell asleep and lost track of time, but i woke up just in time to snap pictures of the mountains while we were flying on top of Jiu Zhai Gou. Then i fell asleep again.

The flight seemed wayyyy more than the scheduled time. When we landed, i was so confused because the airport looked like the exact same one as the one in Chengdu.

My brother told me we arrived in Jiu Zhai Gou and sensing the sarcasm in his words, i thought otherwise. And i was right. Haha! Apparently there was a really bad turbulence, the pilot couldn’t land so we had to fly back to Chengdu.

But anyways! We were brought to this small airport hotel to wait for our next available flight, which would be anytime. Most of the passengers looked really mad.

We walked around, didn’t really snap much as there wasn’t anything interesting. Around 7pm, we were told that there would be a flight to Jiu Zhai Gou. Went to the airport, took off at 8pm and reached there really late at night.

It was freezing cold the next morning. Probably less than 0 degrees. But the place was gorgeous. The main part of my post starts here, heaps of scenic pictures ahead :)

My mum and i. I was freeezing It was so cold the water in the lake turned to ice. Some waterfall place Can you see the face? Mountains And more mountains This place was my favourite of all.
