grow up, peter pan!

The day when i turn fourteen. I went to a carnival, spa (birthday treat from mom) and a non-halal spanish restaurant with my family.

I started my off my day with fangers. She picked me up around noon and we headed off to kc high. They were having this carnival there. It was raining heavily but the sun was still shining.

I freaking love bubble tea. Met up with some old school mates there.

Then i followed my mom to the spa.

Some treatment which involves scrubbing, trimming nails, etc the bottom half of my legs. Ugly toes. My mom’s friend’s daughter made this. Thank you, rachel! I love it.

Played around with the shutter priority. It says “nose to tail eating”. Oink Me, mum, her friend and my sister. Lamb This is the part where i had to use a plate to chop the pork twice and make a wish then break the plate by dropping it into a huge wooden bucket. It’s sort of a tradition in spain, and also to demonstrate how soft the pork is. 

Funny thing was i failed breaking the plate the first time i dropped it. There was a loud crash but the plate did not break, at all. Failed at my second try too. I guess third time’s the charm. We ordered desert after that. My all-time favourite. The birthday song went like this

Pretty hilarious.

Yeah, that was pretty much my day. I had a fantastic time. Everything went well, or maybe not everything but overall, it was a good, good day. Thank you everyone for the wishes, presents and most importantly for making my birthday a wonderful one.

I cannot believe mid-terms are about to begin in a week’s time. And this week passed by fast, very fast.

Thank you Adrienne and howie for the early presents.

I actually fell for Adrienne’s present. She told me she was going to give me a cheesecake at first. Little did i know it’s actually a handkerchief. The card and the other present are from howie.

I brought my camera to school yesterday. Since it was fangers’ birthday last week she have been receiving a lot of presents, like a stuffed giraffe. Then someone had this crazy idea to bring plushies to school? rofl.

air pollution. our so called 2L mascot? Fang snapped a picture of my hair. Crazy, i tell you. Beehive in making.

Adrienne, Fangers, Nat and i are trying to stay away from canteen food this week. So we brought our own food from home. The food was so good, i think we’re gonna do this for as long as we can. Today Nat brought sushi, famous amos cookies, fruits with homemade yoghurt and buns. Fang and Adrienne brought sandwiches and fruits and i brought caesar salad. They filled us up during break and lunch. Epic.

I also had a huge surprise today. I came up to class late after break and, everyone shouted surprise and sang me an early birthday song! At first i didn’t really know who they were singing to because my birthday’s two days away until they said my name in the song. They also gave me a card with all their signatures in it, and a present. Classmates like them made my day! You have no idea how happy i was.

JP bought this dark chocolate rose a few days ago and didn’t want to keep it anymore for some reason, probably because it’s chocolate and yeah, so they decided to give me today.

There was free ice-cream after school today, in celebration of Uncle Jimmy’s achievement of 1000 fans in his facebook group i think. Happy happy day.

Happy birthday fangers! It’s not much of a surprise since i started on it a few weeks ago and you kept it, and i got to work on it again last week and yesterday, yeah. and that’s the whole point of me bringing it home to complete it since your birthday is on a saturday so it would be like a real birthday present. This may not be the best birthday present for you but i really hope you like it.

My scanner at home ain't that good but i'll post it up anyway. the original picture scanned to my computer was horrible so i edited it. (which explains the red and green gradient fill)
